Susan Edris Anthes

On Tuesday, January 12, 2021, Susan Anthes loving mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 68.

Susan was born on November 23, 1952 in Oshkosh WI to the late Everett and Carol Anthes. Susan graduated in 1970 from Oshkosh High School. Susan worked several jobs during her life but in 2017 she retired from the Pacon Corporation as their Sample and Literature Coordinator.

Susan was a devoted mother to her only daughter, Shanna and her grandchildren Brianna and Morgan who she loved more than anything. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, doing puzzles and stirring up trouble on Facebook.  Susan also adored her adoptive blind fur baby Ellie, who was her constant companion.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Carol Anthes, and Uncle John Koehn. She is survived by her daughter, Shanna and two granddaughters Brianna and Morgan, and many cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday January 17, 2021 at Valley Funeral Home on Richmond Street in Appleton, WI.  Visitation will take place from 10 o’clock am until the time of service at noon. A small luncheon will follow the service.
