Rosella "Rosie" (Roth) Plass

Rosella “Rosie” Plass age 91, of Appleton, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at County Villa in Freedom, WI.

She was born on January 14, 1932 in Menasha, WI, daughter of Joseph and Anna (Griesbach) Roth.

Rosie was an owner/operator of Gundi Lanes in Menasha, WI and then Norge Laundry and Dry Cleaning in Appleton, WI. She enjoyed swimming, camping, reading, watching movies, putting together Jigsaw Puzzles and grandchildren activities, but most special to her was spending time with family and her grandchildren.

Rosie is survived by her children Tim (Kari) Plass, Troy (Anne) Plass, Trace (Michelle) Plass and Tami (Bill) Frieders; her grandchildren Sam (Sarah) Plass, Ben (Kimberly) Plass, Brea Veldboom, Lindsey and Taylor Plass and Amanda (Wes) Johnson; ten Great grandchildren; sister Renee Malcheski; brother Gary (Diane) Roth; and sisters-in-laws Joanne and Joan Roth.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Ruth Wittemann and brothers Joseph, Raymond and Richard Roth.

A memorial service will be on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Valley Funeral Home 2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton, WI 54911. Burial of cremains will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Menasha at a later date.

Family and friends may greet the family on Friday, Sept. 22nd from 11:00 am until the time of services at the funeral home.
