Robert "Bob" A Mulheron

Robert “Bob” Mulheron, age 73 of Menasha, passed away after a hard fought battle from complications of multiple myeloma treatment on Thursday, January 19, 2023 with his family by his side. He was born on April 29, 1949 in Appleton to the late Leroy Mulheron and Mary (Gasper) Mulheron-Rusch. After graduating from high school, Bob joined the United States Marine Corps; his discharge from the Corps was in 1969. On December 5, 1970 he married Ann Springer, and they enjoyed 52 years of marriage. Bob enjoyed coaching girls’ softball for over 30 years. He enjoyed going Up North to a secret fishing hole as well as camping, hunting and just spending the time with family and friends. He also enjoyed visiting with his friends at Rellas and Prime Time. Bob loved the time spent with family, especially his grandchildren.

Those left to remember Bob are his wife, Ann, children; Brenda (Orlando) Moz, Dawn (Paul) Peterson and Chad Mulheron, grandchildren; Rachel (Colby) Strilaeff, Alex (special friend Jenna Sherry) Moz, Amanda (Corey) Heinz, Ramsey (Matt) Murphy and Olivia Peterson. He is further survived by his brothers; Gary (Mary) Mulheron, Michael Rusch, Steve Rusch, Harry (Shelly) Rusch, Dennis Rusch and Dale Rusch, sister-in-law, Linda Mulheron, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Preceding Bob in death are his parents, brother Jim Mulheron and sister, Sandra Costello.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N Richmond St, Appleton and again on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 9:30am until 10:45am with a funeral service to follow at 11am. Military honors will follow the service. In lieu of flowers donations to Wounded Warriors and Children’s Hospital are much appreciated.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Froedtert, ThedaCare Hospitals and Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center for the wonderful care given to Bob, especially Todd, Mounia and Joyce.
