Marie Tanguay

Marie Tanguay, Age 93, died peacefully Monday, August 8, 2022 at Emerald Ridge Assisted Living. She was born September 23, 1928 in Appleton, daughter of Leonard and Margaret Sternhagen. Marie married Donald Tanguay on February 4, 1956 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Appleton. She was employed at Kimberly Clark, and later as a cook at St. Gabriel Catholic School. She was a charter member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and also watching Hallmark movies. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by a daughter, Lorie Hassell (significant other Gary); son William (Suzanne) Tanguay; six grandchildren: William (Melissa), Mara Tanguay; Shannon, Ryan (special friend Cassie), Jill and Jason Hassell.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John, parents, and husband Donald.

Per her wishes, no service will be held.
