Jerome "Jerry" Schoultz

Jerome “Jerry” Schoultz, age 82, of Neenah, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Emerald Ridge Assisted Living after a short illness.

He was born on January 4, 1941, son of the late Albin and Marie (Walburn) Schoultz.

Jerry was a very proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served at various locations from 1962 to 1964.On October 2, 1965; he married Jacquelyn “Jackie” McKenzie at St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha, WI.

Over the years, Jerry was an extremely hard worker. His places of employment as a truck driver included Concrete Pipe in Menasha, Laminations in Neenah, Kimberly Clark in Neenah, Neenah Paper, as well as owning his own truck. Jerry drove over 15 million miles during his career. Jerry was a very proud member of Town of Menasha Lions Club acting as president and vice president at one time and the Menasha American Legion Post 152. He unselfishly volunteered many hours to both organizations. In general, Jerry was a very giving person of his time to whoever needed help. When it came entertaining, Jerry was second to none. He made sure everyone had their beverage of choice. No matter the time of day, everyone was greeted with “Good Morning”.

Jerry will be greatly missed by his son Kevin Schoultz and his sisters Ellen Mancosky and Janet Hickey who spent many hours with him in the past few years. He is further survived by his grandchildren Tara (Taylor) Holtz, Llogan Schoultz and Kalli Schoultz; great grandchildren, Aiden, Toby, Amy, Trooper, Mason, Tucker, Barret Holtz and Xander Pospichal; his siblings Bob Schoultz, Paul (Jan) Schoutlz, Mary (Fran) Lemley, Janet (Jef) Femal, Janis (Bob) Vanden Heuvel, Bill (Mary) Schoultz and Ellen (Kevin Novak) Mancosky; as well as extended family and friends.

Besides his parents and wife, Jackie, he was preceded in death by his daughter Tamara “Tammy” Schoultz.

A celebration of his life will be Monday, October 9, 2023 at 11:00 am at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton, WI 54911 with Deacon Thomas Gritton officiating followed by full military honors provided by the Menasha American Legion Post 152.

Family and friends may greet family on Monday, October 9th from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
