Gerald “Jerry” “Tweeter” Mahloch, age 76 of Shawano, passed away unexpectedly after a fall on September 12, 2023. Jerry was born in Appleton on September 5, 1947 to the late Issy and Angie (Gintner) Mahloch. He was raised in Appleton, attending St Edwards Mackville through grade school and then on to Appleton West High School, graduating with the class of 1965. Jerry went on to graduate from University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh with a Bachelors degree in Business. His parents owned and operated the Cotton Patch Supper Club, and when they retired, Tweeter and his brother, Jim took over and ran the family business. Upon their retirement, they sold the Patch.
Tweeter enjoyed golf, the Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers. He loved traveling, his most memorable trip being to Ireland. He also enjoyed time spent in Florida and Gulf Shores. Tweeter was fun loving and a joy to be around. He was always up for a good time. He will be missed by all of his family and friends, who loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kate, his three sons; Jeremy (Tiffany), Ben (Gwen) and Andy (Tristan), nine grandchildren, siblings; Bev (Joe) Van Ryzin, Audrey (Jim) Koleski, Judy (Fred) Grailer and Jim (Penny) Mahloch. He is further survived by brothers and sisters in law; Peter Mischler, Patrick Mischler and Mary Fran (“Yogi” Greg) Fulcer many nieces and nephews, especially his buddy, Benjamin Fulcer, other relatives and good friends.
In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his wives Connie (Rice) Mahloch and Pam (Baldoch) Mahloch.
Family and friends may gather on Friday, September 22, 2023 beginning at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 302 S. Main St, Shawano, a Mass will follow at 12:00noon. After Mass, a celebration of life will be held at the American Legion, 850 S. Lincoln St, Shawano. In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.
The family wishes to thank everyone who came to Tweeters aide and especially the nurses and staff at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Neenah for the excellent care he received with them.
