Douglas Steven Bishop, 65, of Appleton passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in his bed at home on September 9, 2021
He was the son of the late Russell Bishop. He graduated from Hilbert High School in 1975. Shortly after graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Army and stationed in Germany where he met his beloved wife Anita Maria. That union gave birth to their beloved daughter Jennifer. He retired after 24 years in the Army. He also retired from Ultimate Cleaning Limited of 20 years. He’s a proud papa bear to granddaughter Natasha and grandson Alex. He was an avid Packer fan and avid fisherman.
Funeral service for Doug will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Valley Funeral Home at 12pm. Good friend of the family Barbara Marinoff will be officiating. Doug’s family will receive friends and relatives starting at 10 am until the time of service.
