David W. Anholzer

David W. Anholzer, age 70, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2022, after a lengthy battle with kidney cancer. He survived for five years on a two-year diagnosis. His family attributes his longevity to his exceptional healthcare team, bewildering luck, and unshakeable positivity. Dave was born on December 18, 1951, in Appleton to the late William and Della (Lancour) Anholzer. On June 27, 1981, he married Cynthia Groth. Cindy preceded him in death on April 6, 2013, and has likely been enjoying late-night music and a clean bathroom mirror while she waited for Dave to join her (and mix her a White Russian). Dave loved spending time with family and friends, gambling, traveling, and fishing. He was very outgoing and always had a smile on his face.

Dave is survived by his children, William Anholzer and Dana (Neil Johanson) Anholzer, as well as his brothers and sisters: Kathy (Scott) Hickinbotham, Mike Anholzer, Mary Kay (Dan) Rath, and Jim (Ann) Anholzer. Dave is further survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a wide assortment of friends that are considered family.
