Arlene Beyer Obituary

Arlene R. (Siegel) Beyer, Appleton, WI, transitioned into Heaven Peacefully from her home on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the age of 89. She was born October 31, 1932 in the Town of Larrabee, Waupaca County, the daughter of the late Oscar and Fronie (Rindt) Siegel. She married Carlton L. Beyer on August 31, 1957 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Marion, WI. Arlene was a great daughter, sister, fabulous wife, special Mom and Grandmother. She grew up on the family farm in Marion and attended a one-room school house, graduating from Marion High School with the class of 1950. Arlene loved to bake and enjoyed sharing her goodies with others; she also loved her country and proudly displayed her American flag outside her kitchen window. She enjoyed traveling and spending vacations in Hawaii with her family. She loved all the time shared with her children and cherished the time spent with her granddaughters at home and cheering them on in swim meets and concerts. She was very talented at creating scrapbooks for her granddaughters Jamie and Jenna, documenting their journeys growing up. Arlene was a Faithful servant of God and a devoted Christian, who taught Sunday school for many years and enjoyed her Bible Studies. Arlene spent countless hours tracing her family genealogy, which brought her much joy and took several trips out of state researching our lineage. She will be forever remembered for the love and kindness shown to everyone she met.

There was never a better Mother and Grandmother whose Love shown so brightly upon all of us. Her Love, Perseverance and Strength live on in all of us, and her Spirit shines forever in the sky.

She is survived by her children; Jean (Dan) Delikowski, Mohave Valley, AZ, Joan (Steve) Hawkins, Black Creek, WI, Sharon (Tim Clawson) Beyer, Appleton, WI, and Steve (Susan) Beyer, Larsen, WI, daughter-in-law, Beth Beyer, Neenah. Two precious granddaughters, Jamie (boyfriend Jack) Beyer, Milwaukee, and Jenna Beyer, Neenah, two sisters; Delaine VanLinn, Appleton, and Shirley (Ivan) Burmeister Marion, two brothers; Jerry (Maxine) Siegel, Marion, and Ray (special friend Mary) Siegel, Clintonville. Arlene is further survived by a special sister-in-law, Pat Siegel, Clintonville and sisters-in-law, Nona (Dale) Arthur, Tomahawk and Joyce Beyer, Appleton, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
