Allen N. Yingling, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026. He was born on December 9, 1945 to the late Norbert (02/09/1982) and Esther (02/05/2002) Yingling in Appleton, WI.
Allen was a graduate of Appleton West High School. He married Judith “Judy” Martin on October 15, 1966 and enjoyed 60 years of marriage. Together they liked to travel, going to Hawaii and California, and enjoyed camping in their early years of retirement. Allen was an avid dog lover, having 15 fluffy companions over the years while also highlighting his passion for training show dogs. In his free time, he enjoyed building various projects from wood working and various yard décor items.
Allen is survived by his nieces and nephews: Connie (Jim) Saunders, Dawn (Eddie) Bell, Scott (Angela) Schulze, David (Kathy) Micke, Steve (Becky) Micke, Heather (Derek) Zurn, and Cassandra Martin and their families; brother-in-law, Terry Martin; as well as many extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy Yingling (06/05/2026); step-father, Nathan Powers (11/10/1984); in-laws: Gilbert (1990) and Evelyn (2006) Martin; sister, Beverly Micke (08/21/2022); brother-in-law, James Martin (08/04/2020); infant brother-in-law (09/30/1951); and sister-in-law, Cynthia Martin (01/16/2016).
A graveside committal service will be held for Allen at Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N. Richmond St., Appleton at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026. For online condolences, please visit www.valleyfh.com.
