Shirley Vetter Obituary

Shirley H. Vetter, age 74, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. She was born on December 27, 1943 in Linton, North Dakota; a daughter of the late Ole and Clara (Noel) Vetter. Shirley enjoyed playing cards with her friends and making an annual trip up to Kelly Lake. She enjoyed boating and fishing. Her family always enjoyed her cooking especially her kuchen. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

Shirley is survived by her four children: Karen (Ron) Taylor, Steve (Ronda) Vetter, Sheila (Randy) Carlson and Kenneth (Randi) Vetter; six grandchildren: Jeremy, Kristin, Samuel, Simon, Christopher and Jessica; five great-grandchildren: Maxwell, Lucas, Taygen, Pheonix and Ethan; brother and sisters: Clementine Kehoe, Larry Vetter and Linda Hill. She is further survived by many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters: Loretta Hoon and Nona Lou Vetter.

 

A Celebration of Life will take place at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
