Sadly, on September 5, 2019, Pamela Ann Houk passed away in her home, with friends, her boyfriend and her daughter by her side. Pam was born in Missouri and lived half her life in the Illinois Quad Cities area before relocating to the Appleton area. She worked as both a CNA and in the home healthcare field for many years.
She will be missed and is survived by her 3 children; Steve Haskins and Corey Haskins of Moline, IL and Monica Haskins of Fond du Lac, WI. She is further survived by her boyfriend and primary care giver, Mark Van Straten and his sons, Scott Van Straten and Adam Van Straten, 4 brothers; Allen (Tish) Houk, Robert (Trish) Houk, Dan (Becky) Houk and Chris (Emilie) Houk. She also leaves behind 2 grandchildren, Zach Haskins and Isaiah Haskins.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Fern Houk.
She was always a joy to be around. She loved collecting many different items and frequenting rummage sales, but most of all, she enjoyed helping and caring for others.
