Gary Richard Rother, Neenah, age 54 passed away peacefully from this world surrounded by his loving family after enduring his struggle with esophageal cancer.
Gary was born January 17, 1964, the son of Mel and Mary Rother. Foremost in his life was family and friends – he made them all feel loved and honored. Gary was the most wonderful son, brother, uncle, godfather and friend to all.
Gary is lovingly survived by his parents, Mel and Mary Jane (Hoffmann) Rother, Appleton, WI; his sisters, Lynda (Ross) Klarner, and Lisa (Dan) Richter; his nieces and nephews, Andrea (Aaron) Patton, Brooke (John) Garner, Richard (Katie) Klarner, Katrina Rondeau, Ashley Rondeau and Jonathon Richter; 6 great nieces and nephews; and Shari Techlin, his significant other and very best friend.
Gary was a proud graduate of St. Thomas More Catholic Grade School (1978), St. Francis Xavier High School (1982) and UW Whitewater. He made many close lifetime friendships through these years. His friends enriched his life with fun, great memories, and loving support for which his family is profoundly grateful.
