Florence Georgia Jansky, age 92 passed away peacefully from this world to her heavenly home surrounded by her loving family.
Florence was born November 19, 1926 in Manitowoc a daughter of Frank and Sophia (Marx) Rank. Foremost in her life was God and her family. Florence made countless Rosaries for Missions. One of her greatest pastimes was painting and produced hundreds of pieces. Singing brought her enjoyment throughout her life and she relentlessly shared her voice with all. Florence was the most wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and friend to all.
Florence is lovingly survived by her husband Louis of 69 years, and their children, Louis S., Mary (David), Robert (Susan), John (Shelley), Tom (Brenda), and Joe; 16 grandchildren, Michael, Peter, Kathryn, Sarah, Nicole, Clayton, Jessica, Mark, Kristin, Jeremiah, Benjamin, Daniel, Abigail, Matthew, Joshua, and Tiffinie, and by 20 great-grandchildren. Her brother, Francis, a sister-in-law, Darlene Rank, and by nieces and nephews. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren, Anna and Adam and her siblings, Ben, Germaine, Jerome, David and a sister-in-law Mary Rank.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at St. Pius X Catholic Parish, 500 W. Marquette Street, Appleton with the Rev. Adam Bradley officiating. Florence‘s family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 9:30 until 11:45 a.m. and the Mass will follow at Noon.
Florence faced the challenges of Alzheimers while embracing her new life and lived each moment to the fullest.
