Evelyn Faye (McAllister) Williams

Evelyn Faye Williams, age 87, died peacefully on Monday, April 9, 2018 at her home in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Evelyn was born on June 28, 1930 in Peoria, Illinois the daughter of the late James and Etta (Simpkins) McAllister. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that had a love for animals especially her cats. Evelyn always had an open door policy at her home for everyone. Evelyn also loved music especially, Elvis and enjoyed dancing. But she mostly loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Donald (Nan) Ward, Peoria, IL; Becky Layne, Pekin, IL; Debbie Field, and Denise Collect both of Des Moines, IA; Melanie Ludin, Cedar Rapids, IA; and Roland Williams, Appleton; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and a sister, Etta Ward. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

The funeral service will be held 3 pm Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N Richmond St., Appleton, WI 54911 with the Rev. Michael Huff officiating. Evelyn’s family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 1 pm until the time of service.
