Cindy Vang (Yer Vang) Tao

Cindy Vang Tao (Yer Vang), of Wausau, Wisconsin died unexpectedly on June 13, 2018, while vacationing with family.

Yer Vang was born on August 1, 1948 in Laos. She immigrated to America in October 1976, gained her citizenship in 1995, then she changed her name to Cindy Vang Tao.

Cindy married Vang Tou Thao in 1967, they were happily married for over 50 years. During that time Cindy birthed 1 son and 5 daughters. She loved taking care of her many different garden, sewing, and giving lots of hugs and kisses to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cindy's preceded in death by her Father Pa Kor Vang and Mother Youa Xiong, five brothers and four sisters. Cindy's survived by her loving husband Vang Thao, Anthony & Olivia Xiong (Thao), Cha & Sua Yang (Thao), Jay & Kaycee Thao (Vue),  Pao & Xay Sengkhammee (Thao), Chynna Tao, Thomas & Linda Burke (Thao), twenty-two grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. 

She'll be greatly missed and loved forever while always in our thoughts.

Funeral Services will take place on Saturday June 23, 2018 and Sunday June 24, 2018 at Richmond Hall, 2531 N. Richmond Street. Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Depere, WI on Monday June 25, 2018 at 10:45 am.
