Larry "Smokey" Beyer

Larry James Beyer, “Smokey”, 65 of Appleton passed away at home, Wednesday November 8, 2017. He was born in Clintonville, September 14, 1952, son of Albert and Phyllis (Dey) Beyer. Larry married Carla Schroeder on December 30, 1985. She preceded him in death on July 10, 2004.

Larry is survived by his three children: Shaun Knott, Kayla Beyer and Travis Beyer; his mother Phyllis; brother Darrell (Jan) Beyer; two sisters: Cheryl Craig and Karen Kelsall. He is further survived by three sister’s in-law: Cheryl (Todd) Wilson, Bonnie (Bruce) Carew and Kathy (Rodney) Remmel; and numerous   nieces and nephews. He was further preceded in death by his father Albert; father and mother in-law Roy and Jeanette Schroeder; sister in-law Trudy Heenan; and a brother in-law Keith Schroeder.

Memorial service for Larry will be 11:00 AM on Tuesday November 14, 2017 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Mary Bauer officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday morning beginning at 9:00 until the 11:00 AM service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
