James S. Kluba Jr.

James S. Kluba Jr., age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 19, 2018. He was born on August 7, 1957 in Kaukauna. James married the love of his life Dawn DuFrane on October 22, 1977 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton. Their marriage was blessed with four children. James loved movies and music, and his favorite hobby was fishing. James and Dawn for the past 7 years would go thrifting every Wednesday to find a new trinket for the grandkids, and they loved receiving new gifts. His love for his family made him so proud. His wife and children were his life, but nothing could out do his pride and joy of being a grandfather, Papa.

James is survived by his beloved wife, Dawn, four children: David (Tearesa) Kluba, Jamie Kluba, Kevin (Kim) Kluba, and Kerry (Ben Hilbert) Kluba; nine grandchildren: Jacobi, Sarah, Jaxon, Sebastian, and Xavier Kluba, Brandon Kluba, Travis Short, Kaden and Jordan Kluba; four sisters: Karen (Brad) Schreiner, Mickie (Paul Remter) Funk, Julie (Jeff) Sokel, and Chris (Mark) Perket; Parents-in-law: Dave and Yvonne DuFrane, three brothers-in-law: Pat (Julie) DuFrane, Mike (Missy) DuFrane, and Jeff (Tami) DuFrane; and one sister-in-law, Jenny (Scott) Mielke. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Rose Kluba.

Funeral Service for James will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street, with Chaplain Brad McIntyre officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 9:00 am until the time of service.
